An Electronics & Communication Engineer, who’s passion turned into Profession is a Seasoned Aquatics professional and the Program Director/Head Coach of Sindia Swimming School, bringing over a decade of experience in competitive swimming and water polo. A National Medallist in water polo, he holds prestigious International Certifications, including ASCA Level 4 Swimming Instructor and World Aquatics-certified Water Polo Referee credentials.
Gaurav possesses extensive expertise in both swimming and water polo, working across all levels—from grassroots development to high-performance competitive training. He has also represented his state as a Technical Official at national and international competitions, contributing to the sport beyond coaching.
With in-depth knowledge of advanced training methodologies in all four Olympic strokes and a strong foundation in sports physiology, he has successfully coached swim teams at local and regional levels, guiding athletes toward national achievement.
Gaurav is particularly skilled in designing seasonal training progressions and managing the long-term development of swimmers. His coaching philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach—balancing athletic performance with cognitive and behavioural growth—ensuring each athlete develops not only as a competitor but as an individual.

  • Represented the State Water Polo Team in many Junior Nationals, South zones and State meets.

  • Secured Silver medal in South Zone Aquatic Championship 2004 held at Mysore under the KARNATAKA SWIMMING  ASSOCIATION & MYSORE DISTRICT SWIMMING ASSOCIATION.

  • Secured Gold medal in State Sub Junior & Junior Aquatic Championship 2004 held at Bangalore under the KARNATAKA  SWIMMING ASSOCIATION.

  • Secured Gold medal in State Sub Junior & Junior Aquatic Championship 2005 held at Bangalore under the KARNATAKA   SWIMMING ASSOCIATION.

  • Secured Silver medal in the South Zone Aquatic Championship held at Chennai 2005 under the TAMILNADU STATE AQUATIC ASSOCIATION. 

  • Secured a Bronze medal in the 33rd Junior National Aquatic Championship 2006 held at Chennai under the SWIMMING FEDERATION OF INDIA.

  • Won various medals in swimming in various club meets.
